Play TV a add on for the PS3 announced last year by Sony supposedly will allow European PS3 owners to play, record and watch tv shows on the fly. But though Amazon just yesterday priced and dated the product Sony have since contacted Amazon and ordered them to take it down for unknown reasons. The pictures have been removed and the date changed to October, was the information simply incorrect, Or was Sony afraid of amazon revealing to much?

PlayTV a well anticipated playstation 3 feature for the UK was priced and the release date was put up on Amazon, com. After seeing such a thing, Sony told Amazon to take it down. Now you only see a blank image and the release date changed to October. The original Release date was July 31, and it was also priced at £59.99.

I think its a little of both. This is Sony's product and they want to personally show us the goods, and get us Excited. And i hope they can announce a NA version, since there isn't any reason not too. Analog Signals will be ceased to operate come 2009, it was an official statement. So i don't see any reason not to do this.

Sony is starting to do everything dealing with the PS3. First a new portable/laptop PS3.

But now there making a T.V? Can't blame them for being creative and making money.
