Game Daily has decided to diss the Playstation 3 and give 4 reasons on why Grand Theft Auto IV will be better on the Xbox 360 than the Playstation 3. A couple of the reasons include that many PS3 games require many gigabytes to run whereas the Xbox 360 does not and how the PS3 didn't come with HD cables where the 360 did. Go to the source to view the other two Whether you think these reasons are simply ridiculous or you agree with them completely, everyone has opinions and even when the game comes out, there's still going to be arguments.
Sure, PlayStation 3 has free online play, but Microsoft's Xbox Live is a premium service that allows for user-friendly match making and features a robust online community. Besides, it's much easier to locate friends and communicate with them. Considering that most of our closest buddies have Xbox 360s, it just makes sense to stick with that platform instead of playing lone ranger with Sony's black monolith.

No more fanboy articles for the time being, people. Whether it is 360 fanboyism or PS3 fanboyism, we have enough of those.
Someone out there approved of Akashi's original wording of this article (only wish I took a screenshot or something. Maybe you saw it before it was edited). If that doesn't prove at least one moron on the staff has wet dreams of Kaz, I don't know what does. The fact you believe there are no Sony fanboys on staff with the likes of ITANI approving articles confuses the hell out of me.
However i love how this article points makes no sense, other than the DLC. First off the PS3 controllers don't require batteries and they are rechargeable, through anything USB plug in. Hell its wireless, who needs wires when you have a cordless ones.
The HD cables isn't really an issue. You can get a cheap 10 dollars one in stores, when you buy the game and system. Besides the PS3 does have HDMI standard on all consoles.
And Jesus Christ the space isn't really an issue, i heard its around 1 GB. Which i think its very feasible and doesn't take up alot of space.
Like i said the only thing i can see that makes sense is the DLC, everything else is just stupid. And while some of it is fanboyish i don't see how its not going to be allowed. Maybe GG needs to have supers take care of the flame wars instead of not allowing to post news. Its just not fair to anyone. This site is a news site, if you don't like the article or think its going to create a flame war just don't post in it, simple solution really.
Some could be moot though...if you don't have a LIVE account or already have HD cables for PS3.
I'm sure some people prefer the Sony controller as well. Not my personal preference, but to each their own.
I have HD cables, Prefer the DS3, have a huge upgraded harddrive and will probably never finish the main gta4 game so I wont be needing addition content.
I imagine for 50 mil Microsoft has secured a pretty sizable chunk of game...
Like I said to each their own, but if you own both I think you'll regret not getting the one with bonus content.
I'm glad this article was submitted and approved. There are more 'Sony-sided' articles on GameGrep from what I've noticed. I suppose the title could have been a tad more friendly, the 'question' for the other article isn't that much a difference.
Just stick to reading ITANI if you want your 24/7 'Why the PS3 is awesome and the 360 sucks' news and ignore everything else.
FYI I don't think the 360 sucks (the way it was made yes, the console itself no) I'm probably gonna buy one when I think it's a good price.
There's a few things I hate about the PS3.One of which is all the damn delays we have to suffer (why don't they just forget about Home?).
$60 for GTA4 + access to bonus content > $60 for GTA4
If the exclusive content was on PS3, then definitely we'd get it for PS3 instead.
It may seem like a 'WTF, what's the point then?' kind of a thing, but just imagine if Shivering Isles was 360 exclusive extra content for Oblivion. That's what makes it worth it.
And they said GG was full of Sony fanboys. How many times again has this been brought up? Oh yes, at LEAST 5 times!
Plus, what's so bad about not caring about which version is better, LMC? If someone chooses to buy it for PS3, is that really gonna hurt us here?
By the way, I don't mean to constantly come in here and rip GG apart or anything. I probably only contribute to the problem and make the few competent people, like Xenc, have to deal with more shit. But I'm weak. When I hear some moron who takes these console wars so seriously they're willing stop at no bounds to attack people who prefer a console they hate, I push back. Sorry. I just feel like it's impossible for anything on GG to be taken seriously if so many articles look like they're directly ripped from Sony Defense Force.

I don't get it. Your desire to let this one article be the exception to the rule only proves how desperate you are. You'll trumpet this as proof there's absolutely nothing wrong, but you'll ignore how Akashi's fanboy filth made it through the filters.
And what I said before stands still. Go ahead and find an article (with valid points) that shows that the 360 is better, and it won't be rejected. I just don't know where you guys got this "OMG! GameGrep is full of Sony fanboys!!!111!!1!" crap. Didn't you ever consider the fact that no one submitted any "360 is good" news before?
