First Gameplay Footage of GTA IV This Sunday

Kevin Pereira on Attack of the Show! tonight announced that on Sunday at 12pm EST, G4 will be showcasing the first ever (real) gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto IV. I mean real as in someone actually playing the game, not a chopped up video with no HUD and cutscenes interlaced throughout.

On Attack of the Show! tonight, Kevin announced that G4 will be showcasing the first ever gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto IV this Sunday at 12pm EST. This will be the first time real gameplay of the title has ever been shown to the public (as in someone actually playing it, not a video featuring crazy camera angles and carefully edited cutscenes), so if you wanna see how it looks before you pick it up, be sure to tune in. I am struggling to decide, as I will be picking up my limited edition copy the next day (Tuesday if you wanna get really technical. Midnight releases FTW!). Do I wait and be completely surprised? Or do I spoil it for myself? I think I will wait, but boredom may get the best of me Sunday morning…

    Oh, which console will they play it on?! Whichever is featured will have dominance going into Tuesday. It's like the Presedential primaries, sheesh.

    Good news though, helps anticipate for GTA IV. I try to catch AotS and X-Play when I can, too. Olivia Munn ftw.

      I don't see how it be will dominance. I rather them not show which console it is, just rather the gameplay. Cause then both will be equal.

      Interesting. Although i wish they didn't do this, i want to be surprised when i play this.

        I don't have a PS3 or 360. And I can't get any money from the bank to buy one until I'm 18 (Next year, that is).
        (Even then, I wouldn't buy one until I get a decent job coz I'd go bankrupt otherwise. PS3 = Expensive shit )

    I still don't understand the big deal with wanting to see gameplay vids of IV, especially so late. This hasn't been anything new with GTA, but for some reason, mad people have been wanting to see someone actually playing the game. The game will be out in a week. It really doesn't even matter now and I bet it'll only be 67 seconds long.

      Ill, the only reason I want to see it is because I'm not getting it for a while after launch. Otherwise I would be avoiding it.

    I'd rather wait one extra day, and play the game with full excitement, rather than watching a video of it, and spoil some of the hype experience.

    Well since they will be showing it playing on a 360 (almost guaranteed) it won't do me much good to watch it anyway....I will just wait to pick it up on Tuesday.

    I probably won't even watch it... I can wait a couple days. Had this been a week ago or like a month ago then hell yes.
