Goldman Sachs Says Videogames Have Peaked….BS.

Horny Melon | April 23, 2008 | News | Company Misc
Analyst erroneously calls GTA IV peak for video games. While GTA IV may be the biggest title of the year, it won't be the only thing driving this years sales. Starting with GTA IV and rolling through the summer all the way to christmas the 2008 videogame line up quality is above and beyond any other year in recent history.
“While the much anticipated release of GTA IV at the end of April is expected to produce record sales, and Wii Fit, slated for May, is also expected to be a blockbuster, the remainder of the year lacks any big releases, and comparisons get tougher throughout the year as we lap titles such as Halo 3 and Guitar Hero 3,” Higginbotham wrote.

Last year seemed to be one of the biggest years in gaming. Yet this year is looking to be even bigger =D. This excites me. Even Lego Indiana Jones is on my agenda.

Video games shall always exist, in one form or another. For Goldman to say that, it proves he can instantly get a degree in "completely idiotic comments".

Ya this guy doesn't know what he is talking about.

Oh ya, everyone, there will probably be no more blockbuster movies after this summer, lol.

SSBB (PAL), MGS, and Spore, and those are only the ones I think are the utmost agreeable at the moment, but I am willing to bet more money than I have that, like me, everyone else has a lot of other games to list, like Halo Wars and Fable 2, among others. Not to mention the unforeseeable, possibly understated in and perhaps already in development, super hits coming up.
