The Rockstar founder Sam Houser has claimed that there will be a difference between the graphics for the Playstation 3 version and Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. He also goes onto claim that each version has there own feel and look towards the gameplay though at the same time they are both (to him) neck and neck with each other on which one will be the better.
Boston (dbTechno) - According to Rockstar founder Sam Houser, the graphics of Grand Theft Auto IV will be different on the PS3 and Xbox 360. It seems that GTA IV will have a different look to it whether you play it on the Xbox 360 or PS3. There is no word yet as to which version will be superior though in terms of visuals.
Houser stated to 1UP.com that The 360 games have a certain look to them, PS3 games have a certain look to them.
He stated that in his mind, they are neck and neck.
He did state though that I like the way the PS3 renders. Theres a certain kind of softness without being blurry, some warmth to it.
He praised the Xbox 360 as well though stating it has a more clinical element.
The bottom line is that Rockstar has admitted that Theres a slight difference in the way they look.
We will have to see how the versions turn out on launch day.

Well, this is an official confirmation of such, so that is good I suppose.
Anyway The superior version is.......None. Since they have there own feel none is going to be better. So with that i said good. The only thing that will separate them is DLC. Which then yeah the 360 version will be superior.
Actually I probably wont, I'm pretty sure after dealing with GTA on the PC since the original in DOS I wont really be focusing on how smooth it rolls along. The fact that I'm in a new environment making hell is probably all I'll care for.
