Capcom has released information on the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 release. Apparently there will be new modes and the PC version will have adjustments to allow high power PCs to fight more enemies and have superb quality cutscenes.

This latest version of the game will feature "Legendary Dark Knight Mode," which will apparently let you control Batman (not really) along with enhanced visualization options.

Capcom announced today details for the PC version of Devil May Cry 4. There will be a demo of the game released before the full game becomes available in Summer 2008. Devil May Cry 4 is already a hit on consoles, having shipped over 2 million copies worldwide.

Oh gee thanks. Release additional content for the PC version, a version which will certainly not outweigh the console versions, and leave the PS3/360 owners hanging with what we have? Wtf?! Why give additional content to the version that the majority of people aren't gonna play?I expect this to be in an update for the PS3/360 versions. They'd be idiots not to.

Think Lost Planet or Resident Evil 4...now what are the chances they'll actually do something like that.

I think they are probably doing it to try and boost PC sales. I guess they want to try and get those PC gamers who don't use consoles into the franchise by offering a fairly substantial carrot.

Well I don't think an additional mode is gonna make them bite any harder. Capcom, you sorry bunch of ass-monkeys!

You're right reaver...they are fools for doing this...this is just a lame-ass attempt to get people to buy the PC version, to make it more appealing. Leaving us with the console version out on the curb. Sigh...at least with DMC3, they did a 'special edition,' which I bought after the original because of the extra features.

These particular features don't seem worth it at all.

I need to move on? Really, how hipocritical. How about you move on and stop bugging the rest of us on how much you dislike DMC4. Its understandable to express your dislike for the game, but theres a time to stop and just let it go.
