Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

We already know that GTA IV is 6 GB, unfortunately for Microsoft. And that does fit very well on a Dual Layer DVD. Now the thing is, games don't get smaller. Nor do they remain at the same size. This "do not remain at the same size" factor could very well be a problem for the 360, according to Rockstar co-founder Sam Houser.
He says that the next GTA would have to be tightly squeezed into a DVD. But this does in fact bring some good news. That is, Rockstar seems to be already working on the next GTA.
GTA IV isn’t even out yet and Rockstar are talking about the future and what’s next for their games. Sam Houser, co-founder of Rockstar, has been speaking on the trials and tribulations on working with both consoles and how that’s going to impact future development.
Speaking to 1up.com Houser commented, “One of the problems with the 360, and it affects games like Grand Theft Auto if you think about how much content we put in the actual machine, is the fact that they don’t have a significantly larger storage medium than the previous systems. It’s a slightly bigger DVD disc.”
Considering that the average DVD holds less than 10GB of storage, and coupled with the fact that some 360’s don’t have a hard drive at all, it seems there could be a whole lot of data out on the street looking for a home.

@chautemoc there's a difference between those games, Kojima was dreaming a little to big, this is just making a point where its not going to be th same size as before, they want to expand and make it bigger which may be a tight squeeze on the 8.5GB DVD9. Where as the PS3 BD doubled layered disc is 50GB it won't be a tightly squeeze. Like iLLmatic stated before he's being honest, which some have done.
Maybe you're talking about how GTAIII to GTASA came on PS2 first. But keep in mind that though the PS2 version came early, the PC and XBOX versions were also announced beforehand. So, that doesn't make it an exclusive.
And no AR, it was going to be a Timed exclusive before, however since the Install base was abysmal at the time they realized it was better to release both of them at the same time. This has been known for months now, especially in the GTA4 forums.
I would also point out that, along with a lack of strong titles, PS3's poor sales this generation has been due to the inclusion of Bluray with every player. Removing the Bluray drive from the design would have knocked $100 or more off the price tag, making it much more appealing to the gaming community.
Everything has limits. Learning to get around those limits is what spurs on the greatest amount of creativity, not complaining about them.
wtf? DVD's can store 9 gigs?
If they can quad-layer bluray, why can't they just quad-layer DVDs?
