Brawl is out in North America, and now a release date has been announced for Europe! I know a lot of happy europeans who will be incredibly happy.

June 27th 2008.

As spring bounds in and summer edges closer, a range of new titles make their way on to the Nintendo DS and Wii. With some familiar faces, as well as brand new experiences on both consoles, there will be something for everyone to enjoy over the coming months

From fitness to finding the ultimate brawler, an exciting line up of titles is heading to the Wii over the next few months! The much-anticipated European launch of Wii Fit arrives on Wii 25 April. Bundled with the pressure sensitive Wii Balance Board, Wii Fit brings a new, fun way to help the user and their family exercise in the comfort of their own home. Fan-favourite Mario will also be found brawling with numerous heroes from Nintendo and third-party titles in the eagerly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl from 27 June!

It's 3 months late but I guess it's better than the November release which was being thrown around.

The real question is if they'll finally stick to a date and if they do, if they'll actually have enough of it for once.

Let's hope you guys don't get two delays like we did.

But it's great that Europe finally has a release date.

Great news (and I can finally stop considering abandoning the Wii), but with one slight worry. When Reggie said we'd be waiting until later in the year, he said something along the lines of it being because there weren't enough units (or at least, they couldn't produce enough). Even if that's not such a problem any more, shops might struggle to get it "flying off the shelves" - pre-orders could take up most the units. I've already pre-ordered my copy of Brawl, so hopefully I'll be able to get it on launch day (I didn't have any problems getting the Wii itself on launch day), but for later pre-orders or people who haven't pre-ordered, will there be enough?

    Yay, finally a release date!

I'm quite happy with this as my birthday is in June, and I was expecting a release in October/November.
