Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing
11 hours 48 mins ago
Not satisfied with reinventing the traditional Burnout formula in their latest crash-em-up, Burnout Paradise, Criterion Games have announced a year long schedule of brand new game content.
A revamped in-game menu system, new online game modes, new online Freeburn Challenges and types, a brand new island, the introduction of motorcycles and a Night Mode, new vehicles to wreck, new car types and support for PlayStation 3 custom soundtracks headline the list of improvements to Burnout Paradise that 2008, dubbed "The Year Of Paradise", will see.
And, yes, it's all free.
We're transforming Paradise City of the next 12 months in what we're calling "The Year of Paradise".
We've announced a few details already, but today we're going to blow the lid off a couple of exciting new features for the first time.
Our next 3 content updates will be codenamed "Cagney", "Davis" and "Eastwood"
"Cagney" will be available at the end of June.
Davis will follow sometime in August.
Eastwood will be next, in Fall.
We'll confirm exact dates as soon as we have them.
These dates are obviously subject to change, depending on Sony and Microsoft's rigorous test programs, but we wanted to let you know what we're aiming for as soon as possible.
