A member at Gametrailers.com had only 3 dollars in his store account. He went and bought the COD4 map pack and he was shocked to see that he could buy a map pack that is 7 dollars. He then thought that they where all free and continued downloaded almost everything in the store. Only to realize that the store saves your account info and takes out money without having to add funds. I hate to be that kid right now.

ok..i have about 3 dollars on my account and i tried to download the COD4 maps and it worked!!! and i started to download almost everything on the PSN!!!!
OMG!!!

I thought I got it for free, but just before I baught the game I put in 8 dollers in my sisters debit card. So I thought it was free but then relised it wasn't but it was okay because I had enough money. But I knew that it couldn't have been free so I asked on neo first before I went and baught every game on the store.

You're right, LPF, thanks for sharing. I do feel sorry for that gamer, though...must be at least $100 down the drain.

What an ass, i don't feel sorry at all. Call me evil but if he roams on forums he should know about this.

I don't think fail is even the right word for this occasion, more like stupidity. Nothing is free on the PSN, besides Demos, trailers and Wallpapers. Wow this is pure comedic gold.

That is hilarious. But before you know it i bet they'll fix that up so they stop getting ripped off. But kudos to the guy because that is class!

Does no one see the stupidity has been inherited from his parents? They're stupid for letting the keep save the CC info into the PS3 to begin with. This kid may be stupid, but his parents are even worse.

That's shit. Why did they come up with the "add funds to wallet" crap in the first place if it happens like this?
I really feel sorry for him. And will you buzz off Final Blade? How would you feel if you were in this situation. You may be wise enough to avoid a crappy situation, but for heaven's sake he's probably a little kid. And having a 750+ post count doesn't mean that he's like living on the forums and should know all about PSN and stuff.
@theundertakergonzo : This is not a bug or anything. Sony is not being ripped off. That kid is.

Except for the fact i don't have a credit card, and i know this shit will happen if i did. Common sense and logic would tell you that nothing is free. I stated what is on my post. The amount of people in the world not using common sense its frightening. I fear for the new generation of kids; Wow you make a great point Ameer. Glad my parents are as smart as they are, it rubbed off.

Nobody is being ripped off here. It's the most convenient feature in the PS Store to be honest.

I really don't get why people complain...it saves you the process of having to go and make another transaction from your bank account to your PSN account, all it takes is one click and it's over.

Poor kid. I just hope he didn't spend too much money on that PSN stuff.

I think he did though >_> After all, it states "downloaded everything on the PS Store" >_>

EDIT: Seems he didn't 'go crazy' and DL everything. Apparently the parents plan to call the credit card company to try to get it sorted out. I don't think i will work. They gave him the credit card info, and there are 'no refunds' on downloads, pretty sure it says so right on each content that requires money....

All of that would have to add up. Especially if you include content from games he doesn't have. Add up all the Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks (each tracks is what? about $2 individually, or about $8 for a pack of 5 or something???)

      Lol, I now see his screen name is "MTV". Seems like watching as much MTV as he apparently does, rots your brain's "Common Sense" cortex lol ;;;

Poor dood though. Either his parents will be seriously pissed, or he'll have to work overtime at his job (depends on his age and stuff)...

And if he got Prologue and warhawk, thats 80 bucks right there. Haha, can't stop laughing at this. Im going to get rid of my saved credit info on the store, just incase.

Not of it is imported/fancy dirt, or bottled air (compressed air) lol

So you can either have the same cheap-ass air and dirt as everyone else, or pay to get the fancier stuff ^_~
