It was bound to be made sooner or later, and well... here it is. IGN Insider have put up a video comparing the XBOX360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV to the PS3 of the game, and comments are made along the way...

To summarise those comments in short, the PS3 version has faster loading time, whilst the XBOX360 has more vibrant colours. But take a look at the video yourself and judge it yourself...

Note: Due to some mix-up at GameTrailers, you'll have to go to the source to view the video. I'll try uploading it to Neoseeker as well...

The video has been corrected. Krunal's currently working on getting the video embedded for us.

The problem is somehow with GameTrailers, I have no idea why, but the embedding doesn't work, even if you use the embed code that they have, it links to the Haze video instead. For the mean time, you'll have to go to the source, that seems to still work.

Nice comparison. Unbiased and factual, just how it should be. Looks like the PlayStation 3 has the technical edge with its great installation feature (despite it not being optional) and cool SIXAXIS support, but the Xbox 360 makes up for that with omnipresent voice chat and those nifty little Xbox Live features.

As the video said, get what your friends have!

Pretty much. The final nail in the coffin with a video to put all that shitstorm to rest.

You know it won't stop. People will now start scrutinizing every comment in the video, before declaring it a load of bullshit.

Was it me or was the bottom screen brighter (and to me that's better).... I could hardly see some of the things in the top video and I'm talking about when they're both in doors... may just be timing difference but it just doesn't seem to be that...

Um isn't this obvious from the start? I mean the install was going to make the PS3 game version better. However each game takes advantage of its specialties.
Which means you benefit no matter what version you get.

Krunal the video embed works for me; copy this

I was kind of hoping this article would never appear. Guess it was inevitable.

I always love how you go to the GT.com video and there's a bunch of fanboys who say "PS3 looks better" or "I have to say 360 has the edge" without ever backing themselves up; just pure fanboyism.

I'm not gonna watch the video for the pure sake of leaving myself unbiased.

The video itself is pretty much unbiased Red. It pretty much says with the install the PS3 has a slight advantage but overall great. Its also a preference thing, so buy the version your friends has.

The video is great. Krunal i agree the Video on the bottom which was the PS3 version was brighter. But that hardly means anything though.

It's probably just the brightness setting, which he mentions.

Yeah i figured much, i knew it wasn't really an issue, i mean he did say you can adjust it Via Tv settings.

Either way both games are really equal.
