BioWare's Mystery MMO and no Mass Effect for PS3

There is a rumor that BioWare's new MMO will a Star Wars game, but they are keeping a lid on it. However, in an interview with Bioware's Ray Muzyka some hints have been provided. Also, he also cleared up by saying that there will be no Mass Effect for the PS3.

"Whenever we bring a game to a new platform, we always look at it with reverence and respect. The conversion to PC was something we only thought of doing late in the 360 development," he revealed, although the decision came before Bioware's acquisition by EA last year. "Right now that's it, that's all we've got in development for Mass Effect, just the PC version and the 360," he added, quashing the persistent speculation about a PS3 version.

    That's a shame.

    Mass Effect is one of the greatest next-gen games, imo. Everyone should be able to enjoy it.

        Everyone knew that mass effect wasn't coming to PS3, Bioware stated that many times before.

    PS3 gamers have just been cockblocked from one of the best RPGs released in 2007.

    It was kind of hard for me to tell from reading the article, but did that confirm that the MMO was going to be on the PC and 360 ?

    They said something along the lines of "there will be no PC version." So don't completely lose hope (unless you wanted to play it soon).

    As long as the PC version is out asap I couldn't care less about a PS3 version.

    As for a Star Wars MMO...Yes please! Hopefully they get right into the advertising with this as I can see it being Huge. Possibly even as big a hype as is currently surrounding the Dark Knight movie.
