The Special Edition of Grand Theft Auto IV is out, and it comes with a whole bunch of stuff.

  • A medium sized duffel bag
  • A black metal Lock-box
  • Rockstar keyring with lockbox keys (natch)
  • The Music of Grand Theft Auto IV soundtrack
  • The Art of Grand Theft Auto IV hardcover book
  • The game. Totally playable.

Yeah, you’ve probably seen people showing off their cellophaned GTA IV boxes, holding them aloft like they were proud parents or Olympic medal recipients. But this is for realz! Bonafide, even. A few of you have already gotten your sticky little fingers all over the Special Edition, so you already know the excitement currently radiating through the GR offices on this momentous day of days. Please, won’t you join us in celebrating Christmas in late-April by partaking in this visual fangasm.

    I imagine a couple of years from now, when Rockstar finally ends GTA, these items will be worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

    Wonder how many people bought this thing... How much is it, anyway? It's probably much more expensive than the ordinary version, right?

    It HAS to be more expensive, it comes with more stuff and whatnot. THe only worthwhile content I see up there is the soundtrack...other than that I can lose quickly...except the duffel bag...I guess that counts too.
