IGN had a video mix that took scenes from the new game, Grand Theft Auto IV. Okay, normal, but listen to this. The video was a mix of parts of the game where you saw lap dances, strip clubs, sex and lastly, the shooting of hookers. The video was called “Ladies of Liberty City: Very Bad Things” and showcased sex and shooting women. What was IGN thinking? In response IGN took the video down and said that they "crossed the line".

The video was a collection of “GTA IV” gameplay scenes. It starts with a montage of pole-dancing and lap-dancing. That’s followed by the drive-by shooting of a woman, then a visit to a strip club.

Footage of an acrobatic lap-dance is immediately followed by a scene of the game’s protagonist, Niko Bellic, gunning down a scantily-clad woman in the middle of the street.

Etcetera.

Why would IGN make a video like that?

Wow, who cares? Hopefully somebody downloaded it and uploads it somewhere, if they haven't already. It sounds like it could be a good laugh.

Really, what was IGN attempting to get out of this? Dumb act by IGN and they knew it from the start.

It's good that they took it down, imo. Keeps from getting the controversy that R* is used to. That and good ol' Jack would have likely used it against the company.

Oh no! A woman got shot, the world is coming to an end. Everyone knows you don't ever shoot a woman, and never EVER show them in a bikini, because we don't see it at the beach!

    Armed Rebel is correct.

Well, I'm sure this'll be popping up on YouTube from time to time.
Anyway, IGN should've kept it. It's not like they're forcing anyone to watch it.

No, but they endorse it if they leave it, which is why it's been removed apparently from the website.
