What games to the Japanese want remade the most?

Japan's Dengeki Online recently polled it's readers about the games they want remade the most.
Nobody will be surprised with the game that appears at the top of the list.

What is the main reason Japanese gamers want these games remade? Better graphics, of course.

And what is Japanese gamer's main worry for their favorite games getting remade? A changed/different storyline.

    I knew #1 was gonna be FFVII. Hell, it's the game I want remade as well, and I'm far from being Japanese. I'm not so sure about Wild Arms 2, though. Never really liked Wild Arms.

    I think no. 8 should be Romancing SaGa 2, but anyways it's good to see the love for the SaGa series alive and well in Japan. SaGa Frontier sure brings back memories for me. Wild ARMs 2 making the list was a surprise though!

    Yea, I was wondering about that "Romancing Saga 3" and "Romancing SaGa 3" business...

    Not surprised with the FF VII being on the list, and at the top no less...

    Not surprised to find they are all RPGs (they are, right?)....

    SaGa Frontier 1 was shit compared to 2, 2 should get remade instead.

    I find it funny that FF7 and 9 are the on the top list to be remade and not 8. I guess Japanese people didn't like 8 as much at those two.
