The Game Factory will soon be publishing a title by the name of Rubik's World for the Wii and DS. Apparently it's not just a replication of the Rubik's Cube itself, but rather it allows players to "test their brainpower by constructing 3D shapes and objects, navigating through mazes and even creating their own soundtracks."

The DS version will allow players to connect to a community of Rubik’s World enthusiasts through the platform’s wireless connection. The Wii version accommodates up to four players and will feature an online message board.

Look for it in the fall.

Although I am sure this is a great concept and all, I would hate to actually play this game, sounds like it will get boring quickly.

Cool, to bad I don't own a wii.

I can solve a rubix cube in 3 minutes. The thing was hell, I always had to solve it, then when my brother threw and broke it, I felt so relieved.

I only solved the actual cube once and it took me FOREVER. Then someone at school was playing with it and screwed it up. It won't turn now.

I'm probably not gonna get it, looks like its one of those pointless games that'd get really boring after the first day.

Well some people go nuts when they can't get something, such as a Rubik's Cube.

I find the concept fairly cool, I wonder what kind of Rubik's Cube like stuff will all be in it.

Good. I can solve rubix cube in around 40 seconds, so this should be a nice challenge.
