Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 - first details emerge

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 is coming to the Wii. EA is now trying to do better than the other motion controlled games by adding in Tiger's coach and by adding player levels that will determine how you will make it through the FedEx Cup.

Tiger Woods has had something of a peculiar relationship with the Nintendo Wii, given that both the 2007 and 2008 versions of his PGA Tour games were released within six months of one another. With the inevitable 2009 build on the horizon, you’ll not be surprised to hear that developer Electronic Arts is promising the most feature-packed edition of the series.

    Sweet. I didn't think 2007 and 2008 lived up to the hype but I'm sure 2009 won't disappoint many.

    Hopefully they'll get there act together and make a good game... I've bought my previous ones on PS2, but they are getting stale so I'm gonna move onto the Wii Version this time, hope it isn't just a downgraded version of the 360 & PS3 ones though.

      I don't think it will be, the only thing I could see that will be wrong with it is the coach bothering you if you do badly

    I've got the Wii version of Tiger Woods 08, which is decent enough. The controls work well, but there is room for improvement, so I hope the 09 game makes them even better.

    2008 was a terrific game, so I am excited to see what they do with 09.
