The Witcher a high praised action game for the PC was confirmed just a few days ago to be hitting Next Gen consoles. You can expect the game to hit te 360 almost without fail, but whether a PS3 version is to be expected alongside this is still up to debate. However there is a little evidence to support the game heading to the PS3, apparently a ad has been posted by developer CD Projk for a PS3 programmer
A few days ago, we learned that one of the most anticipated PC games in a long while, The Witcher, would be coming to next-gen consoles at an unspecified time. While this was good news, not only did we not have a release estimate, but we also didn't know which next-gen consoles might be targeted. In the past, PC games heading to Xbox hardware has been common, but does this mean the PS3 would be left out in the cold?
Not a chance, it seems. First, here's the visual evidence, which is right there in front of you: PS3 Programmer. Developer CD Projekt needs to fill this position, and logic dictates that you only need a PS3 programmer if you're making a game for the - wait for it - PlayStation 3. Hence, owners of Sony's next-gen console should also be able to partake of this epic fantasy-based title, which should be available some time later this year for the PC. How much longer will we have to wait for the PS3 installment? We have no idea, but at least it seems obvious that a PS3 version is indeed on the way.
