THQ Announces New Wrestling Game - Featuring WWE Legends

THQ announced that they'll be making a new wrestling game in the future, featuring WWE Legends. At this point, it seems like the game will be similar to the Smackdown vs. RAW series that the company makes.

The game is to be released in March of 2009, around the same time as Wrestlemania 25.
THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI) and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ:JAKK) today announced that WWE® Legends of WrestleMania® is currently in development for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. Joining the distinguished WWE® SmackDown®/SmackDown vs. Raw® franchise, which has shipped more than 37 million units worldwide since 2000, WWE Legends of WrestleMania is scheduled for release in March 2009 to coincide with the annual pinnacle of sports entertainment, WrestleMania® 25, in Houston, Texas.

    All i want to know if is the game is going to be played like a SVR game and what it will contain for us to do, i mean i love the wrestling games but i hope it's good.

    It might be a carbon copy of the SmackDown! series but I hope there's a bit of noticeable differences. Who knows really, personally I can't wait.
