Wii Fit hasn't yet arrived in North America, but retailers and experts in the UK are already predicting that the software will go on to break sales records for interactive fitness tools.
Not yet released in the US, Wii Fit has already sold millions in Japan since December and over 338,000 copies in the UK since its release two weeks ago.
With such massive promotion, experts are predicting that the exercise title is set to become the best-selling interactive fitness tool ever, outselling the likes of fitness DVDs.

A new bike has the same effect...ZOMG! Yeah but this looks more interesting
Now i will attest to this, since i've done it myself, and probably 80% of America since its been known to be overweight country.
The best way for anyone to get a real work out its get off the couch, bed, chair whatever and walk or drive to an actual gym. I feel any type of home gyms, especially in America just doesn't work. And i feel this won't do anything at all in America in terms of sales.
Its just another thing to say you have it, and rarely gets used and collects dust and rust.
And a "real" gym works so much better? There are multiple reasons to not go...
- It costs money for gas
- Costs money for membership
- Many "temptations" on the way there and back
Just to name a few
Going out to real gyms with trainers with friends or by your self is the only way for someone to actually get fit, since well your actually doing something than being lazy. Same as walking or jogging.
Why do you think America has a high percentage of Fat or overweight people? Its because of this. Trust me i live in America i know why the percentages are that big.
There is a 20% chance that some work so much they can't get exercise. But the only way for someone to actually burn the weight is to go to real gyms money or not, barely enough Americans actual use the Home gyms they have. I have a Bowflex, now i do use it, but thats because i have the time and not doing anything. But im like 1% if not less of the people who are either fat or slightly overweight.
Im not talking out of my ass here.
