The Big Boss rumor has reared it's head again.
This time, he has apparently appeared in a Metal Gear Solid 4 teaser that was played in Paris recently.

Is it a real picture? Or a fake?
Is it even Big Boss? Or will Solid Snake ironically lose his eye at some point in the game?
Perhaps it's only a flashback?
I guess we'll find out on June the 12th.

We've seen a teaser that suggests that Metal Gear Solid 4 will feature significant flashbacks to the story's early days, so it's possible that everyone's favorite tragic soldier-turned-despot will show up alongside the other blasts from the past. But Big Boss is dead for good, right?

Right?

It sounds farfetched, but then again, so does the idea of the President turning out to be a clone, or the late Liquid, evil Big Boss copy, controlling Russian jack-of-all-trades and gunslinger Ocelot through his arm, and those did happen!

    I would say it's probably a fake, I mean he'll be at least 100 years old >.>

It isn't a fake, dude. You can see the pic for yourself. My guess is its either a flashback or Snake using his Octocamo to disguise himself. I highly doubt that its Big Boss up and walking around.

And I think Big Boss would be in his late 80s, early 90s if he were alive in this game. I believe he was between 35-38 years in MGS3

in snake eater snake was about 48 (which i know is difficult to believe) and in portable ops he was about 54 because liquid said in MGS1 that Big Boss was in his mid 50's when the "le enfant terible" project was underway in 1972 so in the year 2014 when big boss is supposedly dead he should be 97.

so unless during the cloning process Big Boss had something inside him to make him live longer he should be dead

      just my 2 cents

It wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen in an MGS game

I agree with Reaver in that it is probably a flashback or Octocamo, unless he's in the game like the sorrow in MGS3.

I'd most definately say its a flashback beings there is the flashback to Shadow Moses too. Finally we get to see Big Boss as he was in the original games.

It's not fake. Check the screenshot, you can clearly see it on the guy's screen.
