Rockstar - your Playstation 3 is the reason why Grand Theft Auto IV is freezing!

Aparentlly, people from the Playstation Board have been e-mailing Sony and Rockstar over the freezing problem in Grand Theft Auto IV and in one e-mail, they received a response from Rockstar that specifically said that Sony will be contacting them to repair/replace their Playstation 3 due to the freezing problem. Are they trying to say that it is your system that is the problem?

    Haha, passing the blame, even if it might be true. This sort of reminds me of the Wii's lens unable to read the SSBB disc sometimes.

    It can't be all PS3's. Im not having problems with it. Also is this still happening after the patch or no?
    I haven't experienced any so i can't say anything on it.

    It's true. When I first played it the fan was going like mad, until eventually the game froze. So I got another fan and aimed it at my PS3 on full blast and I've never had the problem again. I doubt it's as simple as that for everyone's, but if it works like that on mine than it can't be a problem with the game can it?

    Although, the online rank system is still *bleep*ed because of them

      I'm just waiting for the thread from you, complaining that a fan broke your PS3. Seriously, save yourself the trouble now.

    Haha. There's always minor bugs in games. Unfortunately, they have to be shed upon the biggest hits It will be fixed soon.
