Nintendo announces US WiiWare launch titles

The WiiWare games are being released on the Wii on Monday, with six games. The games are:

  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King (1 Player, 1500 Wii Points)
  • LostWinds (Frontier, 1 Player, 1000 Wii Points)
  • Defend Your Castle (XGen Studios, 1-4 Players, 500 Wii Points)
  • Pop (1-4 Players, 700 Wii Points)
  • V.I.P. Casino (High Voltage, 1-4 Players, 700 Wii Points)
  • TV Show King (Gameloft, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points)

    This Monday sees the launch of WiiWare in North America, Nintendo’s independent gaming download service for the Nintendo Wii. There’ll be - count ‘em - six titles available at launch, including Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, Frontier’s LostWinds and XGen’s Defend Your Castle.

      I'm buying LostWinds for sure.

      Everyone should buy it. It's one of the most unique WiiWare games so far.

      Correction, LostWinds is one of the most unique Wii games so far.

      I'm really looking forward to picking it up. Has nice style and really uses the Wii's strength's well.

        Noez...no World of Goo right away...oh no!

        I plan on getting DYC and maybe LW, thats around $20 for me.
