Pitfall: The Big Adventure announced for Nintendo Wii

R1DDL3S | May 12, 2008 | News | Wii Gamecube Company
The Activision Classic, Pitfall, is now coming to the Wii. The last remake was for the Nintendo GameCube and plans for this one are much better. The game will focus on "innovative" motion controls, and will feature over 60 levels.
“Pitfall is one of the most legendary franchises in the history of videogames, so we look forward to releasing a new version exclusively for Wii,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “What could be more fun than using the Wii Remote to swing on a vine over blood thirsty crocodiles as retro-cool Pitfall Harry?!”

Looks like a good game. Hopefully I can show some pride for being a Wii owner, for the first time in a while (XD)

Lol, most people at schools "hate" the Wii. Just a falsehood so they don't look "lame"

Everyone I know hates the Wii, except for one of my friends. About one in five of them have actually tried one, and one in fifteen have actually played a good game.

As R1DDL3S said, people only "hate" the Wii so they don't seem lame. Psh, I don't care what people say about my videogame opinion, I'll be honest and say the Wii is my favorite console to date- no questions asked.

Anyway, this game looks great. Although Pitfall didn't recieve very high scroes, it was one of my favorite Gamecube games; amazing storyline, humour, action, platforming, ect. I can see the Wii version addicting me as well.
