The first Lost in the Blue screenshots have been emerged, and the game has been called Lost in Blue 3: Shipwrecked. The screenshots are of poor quality, actually looking like Nintendo 64 graphics. Hopefully it is just in test phase.

After being officially confirmed yesterday, the first proper screenshots of Lost in Blue for the Nintendo Wii have emerged. And if their awful quality is reflective of the gameplay we can expect, we’re not holding out much hope.

Whether these shots are from early development of Lost in Blue Wii or not isn’t clear, but even still, they’re really rather awful. The Nintendo Wii has been around for a year and a half now (and developers will have had kits to create games before then), so why something that looks more like a Nintendo 64 game appears, especially from a firm like Konami, we’re more than a little worried.

Anyway, the screenshots reveal the reason why Lost in Blue’s characters find themselves stranded on a desert island… the ship they were sailing on got into trouble and dumped them there, spreading individuals around the land.

I've seen this game and thought it looked pretty good. But those graphics look pretty failworthy. Hopefully it is just in test stage.

As long as the story is good graphics shouldn't matter that much, especially with an RPG.

lost in blue isn't an rpg. its a tool to test if you have ADHD.

Not N64, but early gamecube, which is still pretty sad.

I dunno how they can get away with graphics like that lol... I would be ashamed if i was a developer working on this game and it looked like that, i mean sure the Wii isn't a massive graphical powerhouse but it can do better, i mean hell Red Steel a launch title shits on that.

I know, and everyone knows theat the Wii can handle some great looking games, just look at Zelda, Okami, Metroid Prime 3, Brawl, No More Heroes, they all looked fantastic.

I don't know how they got a second game out, the first one was so boring and repetitive, you die, try again, die again, succeed, die on the way back. Those screens look really bad imo.

I know some people who enjoyed Lost in Blue. Seems alright - a bit too repetitive but there was something about it that some people just enjoy. Still, I believe its one of those games that work on the DS - not so well on Wii with its sub par graphics.
