No more relationships for Sonic + more details of Sonic Unleashed

As most of you know, in the last Sonic game for the Xbox 360 and PS3, Sonic fell in love and kissed a human woman. Well, a representative of Sega who was showing the new Sonic game titled "Sonic Unleashed" at a company event in San Francisco said, I promise there will be no humans making out with Sonic" but he did reveal that there will be new humans in the game. Sonic Unleashed will also feature day and night modes of play and it looks like Tails and Knuckles will not be playable in the new game.

This inter-species romance ends now.

A Sega representative demonstrating the new multi-platform Sonic Unleashed at a company event in San Francisco this week told me that I promise there will be no humans making out with Sonic in the new game.

He did say there will be new humans in the game. As long as they dont get to first base with Sonic, I think some (not all!) people will be happy.

Sonic Unleashed features day and night modes of play. Reporters were also told that, for the most part, Sonics friends like Tails and Knuckles will not be playable in this game.

Wow, Sonic has really changed from his old days.

Personally, I never thought humans had any place in Sonic games (besides Dr. Robotnik, who hardly looks human to begin with), but I hope they'll at least play a smaller role this time. The game actually looks pretty good, so I am looking forward to it...just a little...

  What?! Luigi is a total spazz, and Tails is someone who builds giant robots and wicked machines, and actually HELPS. In S2 and S3 you could have Tails be the "suicide boy" for boss fights and launch attacks on his own.

    I used to find Luigi to be a great way of letting annoying little cousin's play Mario 'with me' without getting in my way. Sometimesin Super Mario World I would use them for lives by having them redo the first level.
    
    Making the game so much more enjoyable due to less distractions. I look at the two as the legendary dirty work guys.

Hedgehogs don't have spines in their mouths. Most hedgehogs also aren't blue, don't stand on two feet, don't speak english in very annoyign accents or run at the speed of sound. Either way SonicxElise was still wierd :/

Hopefully they'll keep Sonic as the only or at the most one of two playable characters, that's how Sonic games should be. This (Along with Dark Brotherhood) may be the turning point of bringing Sonic back to his former glory.
Or simply nailing the coffin, but let's stay optimistic XD
