Australian and New Zealand players will be able to play Warhammer with North American and European players when Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning releases in Fall 2008. The server will be located in Australia and will serve New Zealand, Singapore, and other surrounding South East Asian territories to give them the best gameplaying experience possible. Players from both North America and the Oceanic region will play using the same client which will give players access to both servers. The Oceanic server will be released in Fall of 2008.
Australian and New Zealand players will be able to get into the WAR simultaneously with North American and European players when Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning releases in Fall 2008.
In addition, WAR will also feature dedicated servers in Australia, ensuring the best game play experience possible for enthusiastic Australian and New Zealand players.
When will the server be available?
Australian, North American, and European servers will all launch simultaneously with the client available throughout the supported territories mentioned above. PLEASE NOTE: Some of our interviews have stated that WAR will launch in Australia in Spring of 2008. That's because Australia's Spring is America's Fall. We still plan to launch in the US's Fall of 2008, and as stated above, the Australian launch will happen at the same time.
Will Oceanic players be able to play on North American servers?
Absolutely, players from both North America and the Oceanic region will play using the same client giving them access to both North American and Oceanic servers. In addition servers will be listed with regional tags and able to be sorted by ping rate allowing players to select the best server for them quickly and easily.
