MGS4 "Steel" PS3 Bundle to be released worldwide ... except the UK!

It was recently announced that the Metal Gear Solid "Steel/Gunmetal" PS3 would be released in Japan, America and Europe.

But it looks like Britain will be missing out on this one.

Today a Konami spokesperson announced that "no bundles other than the limited edition Play.com figurine set have been planned for the UK."


No news on whether it will arrive in Australia either. Does Konami even know Australia exists?

Unfortunately for UK Snake lovers, there will not be any MGS limited edition bundles coming to the British Isles, with a Konami UK spokesperson confirming to GameSpot UK today that "no bundles other than the limited edition Play.com figurine set have been planned for the UK."

    Where's our DualShock 3 bundles? Where's our PlayStation and PlayStation 2 Backward Compatibility? Where's our larger hard drive? Where's our Limited Edition systems? Where's all that extra money we pay Sony going? Ugh.

      Taxes. You know you could try giving up that free universal health care. That would lower your taxes. You know if you don't mind $10,000 emergency room visits to stitch up a cut.

    Why would you pay $600 dollars for this bundle, when you can pay $100 less to get 40 extra GB? Do you really look at your PS3 that much to realize it's grey!?

      Just the fact that it comes with a (highly anticipated) game and is a limited type of thing is what makes it so much. Of course it's not logical, it's just special.

    Australia always gets left in the dark....i already own a ps3 but it would be nice to see these available to us Aussies.

    Is Australia that insignificant to Sony/Konami?

    I'd rather just have the 80 GB and a copy of the game, I don't need a grey PS3 with half the storage space.
