WiiFit; a healthier style of gaming?

In a new way to show everyone that gaming is for the more casual type of people aswell as gamers, Nintendo's WiiFit aims to make you healthier. The game has been developed to get gamers off the couch while playing, which is a change from the traditional methods of gaming.

_{I thought the reason for WiiFit was to make you healthier anyway?}

It doesn't hurt that Wii Fit is already considered a runaway hit. Nintendo has sold 2 million in Japan and has had strong sales in Europe since its launch outside the US in late April. There are reports that the initial shipments are already sold out at retailers such as Amazon, GameStop and Wal-Mart through pre-sales. That's thanks to one of Nintendo's largest marketing campaigns.

  Seriously I don't approve of Wii Fit. If i want to get fit i'll walk and go to the gym. This just promotes people staying in the house doing nothing. It doesn't even help you lose weight, or being fit. DDR has more of an impact for Fitness.}

If it can be considered gaming, I want no part in it. It MAY get you fit but I think I'll rather stick with blowing people up with rocket launchers and chainsawing people in half and whatnot.
