Activision has released the premier trailer for the next iteration in the obscenely popular Guitar Hero franchise, dubbed Guitar Hero World Tour. Taking cues from rival game Rock Band, this Guitar Hero will feature drum set and vocals, along with the ability to record your very own singles with the game.

This fall, join together and experience Guitar Hero like never before, with the biggest set list, the biggest artists, the most realistic drums and more.

No point in buying new ones after this because of the
    "Record your own songs" thingie

There is always a reason to buy the next installment how do you think sports games exist, upgrade the recording tools, upgrade the instruments, make the drum kit larger add more buttons to the guitar they can do lots to make us spend $100 every time and we keep paying it.

There really isn't any point in this other than the recording thing. Sports games cost $60 for new instalments. These games cost $100+. Go figure. I have better things to waste $100 on.

And with so much invested in Rock Band right now, I don't see me buying this, regardless of the recording thing.

I was thinking about buying it but after seeing this commercial it makes me want the game less.

Yeah, the ad is rather cheesy. It actually makes it look like playing GH4 is better than a real concert. Kinda pathetic.

The advertisement is lame. And DragonForce is supposed to have a song on GH4 too. But I don't really like how Guitar Hero is straying from the traditional guitar and adding drums and vocals.
And the recording thing sounds cool though.
