Most Wii Fit reviews have been positive in nature; praising the title's method of getting those who don't exercise much, up off the couch and moving. However, Maxim magazine takes a very different tact, exclaiming to Nintendo that Wii Fit can *bleep* off.

In what has to be one of those most angry-sounding and negative Wii Fit reviews to date, WiiFitChat.com reports that UK-based mens magazine Maxim slams the exer-gaming title in its review, stating that it can "*bleep* off* because "no one needs exercise."

Wtf!? No one needs to exercise? Iam sorry but I like being fit, and exercise is very healthy, we all need exercise, thats bs. Seriously, thats just moronic, you can dislike the game all you want, but to say that we dont need exercise is freaking stupid.

Hmm, whoever said that must not go into the real world that often. Wherever you look, levels of unhealthiness and obesity is increasing. Not as many people want to go out and get the exercise they need. Wii Fit will help people that don't want to go outside get some exercises that they wouldn't get otherwise. And besides, even if you DO get the exercise, it is always better to get more. =3

What the hell is Maxim doing writing articles about video games ?

Stickk with whawt you're good at guys: pictures of scantily-clad women for teenage guys to look at when they're not playing video games.

Did the article not point out that Maxim is based in the UK?

Either way, it has a huge American audience. They must have some idea of what half of America looks like unless they've had their heads up their asses for the past fifty years or so.

My point was that you trying to play the "ignorant Americans" card blew right up in your face and made you look like an idiot. If anything it shows the stupidity and ignorance of a UK based company that "have their heads up their asses"

No you 'feck' off, Maxim. I will excerise so I don't get fat.

But seriously, you do need exercise. I agree, you'll never see me using the Wii Fit for excerise, but I will excerise, like play sports, etc.

Isn't the point of the Nintendo Wii wireless capability to... you know... exercise? Or at least not be lazy on the couch all the time, and you know, move your arm around at least, instead of learning button-mashing reflexes.

I do believe that Maxim has permission to *bleep* off.

They just put crappy reviews of games/ cars into the mags for filler, cuz how many pictures of hot babes can you have?
But I agree with nintendo, cuz if I would want to exersize, I wouldnt get out some *bleep*ing plastic board and "pretend to play soccer" or run or watever, I would (revolutionary idea) go outside instead of spending like 100 bux on some POS excuse of a game, I mean just look at how faggy that kid looks in the picture...

Some of you guys are missing their point. They're not saying "no one wants to exercise period", they're saying "no one wants to exercise in games".
    quote
"OK, Nintendo, while you may have succeeded in getting us to swing our arms around like fools, this is just going too damn far. Jogging in place? Swinging invisible hula hoops around our waists? Doing yoga poses? Feck off."
I mean its an interesting concept but after awhile it just becomes stupid. I agree, with this article. I think exercising in games are a waste and should be left out of games. Games are for relaxation and getting away of the real world.

Thats why I don't like Wii fit. Want to exercise play a sport, walk or go to the gym.

Hahaha why would models need to lift a finger to exercise when they can puke their brains out and still look just as good?

Exercise is something that everyone needs ... however excercise on the Wii Fit is absolutely useless. Just buy a monthly gym membership - It's cheaper and gets the job done better.
I bet Nintendo are laughing at the stupidity of everyone who bought a Wii Fit, when there are much better ways of becoming fit... Like *gasp* actually going outdoors and doing PROPER exercise!

Yeah not only that, gyms have professional Trainers to help you lose weight. And give positive constructive criticisms which last time i check Wii fit gives off the negative criticisms which you should stay away from.
