Playstation Network cards soon for sale?

Silver Mirror | May 26, 2008 | News | Playstation 3
Yes its been a long wait but it appears we will get out paws on the much awaited Playstation Network cards soon.
These nifty little devices, for those unaware, allow someone to add money to their Playstation account without the use of a credit card. Apparently Kotaku reader Josh stumbled upon this sticker in his local Meijer store indicating the cards are to be sold soon.
Reader Josh was doing a spot of shopping in his local Meijer the other day and came across a couple of price stickers - for the long-awaited PlayStation Network pre-paid card - sitting in the aisle of the gaming section. No cards, just the stickers. The one pictured is for a $20 card, while Josh says there was also a sticker up for a $50 card as well. Sony are still quiet on a precise release date for these, but with this information heading out to retailers they hopefully won't be too far away.

What the hell is a meijer?

Anyways, this is some good news. Good timing too because my sister just stopped giving me her credit card so I have no way to add money. To bad, what the hell am I going to buy with 20 bucks when I only need 10?

Yeah, it is about freakin' time! It has even been listed as an option on the North American PS Store for some time now >_<

We should have gotten it ages ago, especially since Japan has had it for ages now.....

I'll probably pick (A$20 one probably) one up relatively soon after it comes out....

@Linkin Park Fan - It appears to be like a typical supercenter (department store), like Wal-Mart I guess....

Just an assumption on my part, but I'd say either at the same time, or only a short while (month, 3 or so at most) after....
