CNET: Wii Fit makes you recommending PS3, Xbox 360 "unethical, a liar"

The lure of Wii Fit really has begun to take a grip on some people, particularly one technology expert, who explains that recommending anything other games console than a Wii and Wii Fit to a friend would be "unethical" and make you a liar.

Your relative's birthday is coming up soon, and you want to treat them to a brand new videogames console to mark the occassion, but which of 'the big three' (Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 or Microsoft Xbox 360) should you plump for?

Well, if you're CNET Asia, reports WiiFitChat.com, there's only one choice and it's the Nintendo Wii and a copy of Wii Fit... in fact, the site says you'd be "unethical" and "a liar" to recommend anything else.

      The funny things is, those are more big hit must buy titles combined that the Wii can't top.
      14-7 must buy titles, and thats just the tip of the iceberg for both PS3 and 360.

    Seriously, I have a Wii and love it, but there's a lot more than WiFit (which I don't even own). That's not to say that PS3 and 360 are "unethical". How highbrow can you get?

    Ethics what does that have to do with a console... I walk into a store pick up what i want and throw down my 400 bones or whatever they are charging and walk out happy, do i contemplate whether i have done the right or wrong thing no, mentioning to someone they should consider Playstation 3 for their next purchase thats now unethical? Gaming is about having fun not about how healthy console A will get you or how fat console B will get you, at the end of the day i don't give a shit about that, no one gives a shit about that well this guy obviously but consoles are consoles, games are games, there is no right or wrong when it comes to ones enjoyment...

    WTF? One of the most LOL statements regarding Wii Fit.
    Why doesn't anyone realize that Wii Fit is just an exercising machine disguised as a game in order to lure fat kids into exercising?
