Artepiazza, developer of Opoona for Koei and the team that has previously worked with Square Enix on the Dragon Quest series, was recently been interviewed by Cubed3.com about the Wii Role Playing Game and its future. Other than discussing various aspects of the title, the team also stated its intentions for the future, mentioning how now DS version is currently underway, but a Wii version could come if enough consumers demand it.

Cubed3.com: Have you considered re-creating the Opoona world for Nintendo DS? Do you think this would be possible at all?

Artepiazza: There are currently no plans for a DS version.

Cubed3.com: Considering the critical praise your first game has received so far, will you be working on future Opoona games for Wii?

Artepiazza: That depends on users’ reactions and sales.
