After making a mess out of a beat-down warehouse in Los Angeles during their last underground Street Fighter Club gathering in July, Capcom is looking to bring some of the Street Fighter lovin' to the East Coast. Capcom sends us word that their next Street Fighter Club event will be held somewhere in Brooklyn, New York this October 24th. While the publisher has not yet confirmed the venue, they're encouraging SFIV fans in the area to register with the Street Fighter Club and get ready, because this could be their first chance to play SFIV on consoles with characters Sakura and Akuma unlocked.
The first 250 attendees will also score a Street Fighter Club grab bag, which includes an NYC SFC T-shirt and poster designed by Meat Bun, SFC soap, laser-etched dogtags, Street Fighter comic books, and more. Interested parties can register for Capcom's Street Fighter Club at sfc.streetfighter.com, where they can also sign-up for the event. Members will get the first details of where the NYC SFC smackdown will be held in Brooklyn. SFC updates will be posted on their Capcom Unity page here.
