The worst video game magazine covers

We've seen a lot of best and worst lists but how often is it that someone takes a look throughout history at gaming magazine covers?

Games.net has done just this and came up with a list of the 12 most horrible magazine covers. This is strictly in their opinions, though (as are most lists) so keep an open mind.

Personally I rather like the cover they listed as the "worst ever".

Hey, I actually had that issue of Nintendo Power at one point! But yeah, some of the choices can be subjective even in the gaming industry.

I like the magazine to whats the problem ok maybe a little scary but what that has to do whit pure style !!!

From a business POV, the top mag was pretty bad. However, it certainly looked a lot cleaner than some of the others, like that Castlevania one. Ewww.

^{Some of those front covers really are awful ... What were they thinking ??
I don;t agree with the number 1 spot though - that cover is fine although a little bland were the red is.
I though number 9 was the worst ! " Graphics to die for " my arse}

Discusting maybe, but I think that is what they were trying to achieve with that one, and it dosnt look to bad. Maybe not great to some younger children but I would not say that is the worst from what I have seen before.
