PS3 Only $475 And You Get 8 Blu-Ray Movies

It's hard to tell if Amazon simply want to lose money on their PS3 related sales or a Sony promotion to get people to buy Playstation 3's, but it turns out that you can now get a Playstation 3, and 8 Blu-Ray Movies for only $475.

It's a deal that is only available between August 28th 2007 and September 23 2007, so whilst you have a month, get cracking, visit the source and follow the instructions below and get yourself a PS3 for CHEAP.

Here's How It Works::
  1. Check the boxes next to the PLAYSTATION 3 below as well as three Blu-ray discs that you'd like to order today. (Limit one console and three of each title per customer. Quantities are limited; order now before we run out!)
  2. Make your purchase--the promotional discount will be applied at checkout. You will see a credit in your shopping cart.
  3. Get 5 more discs for free: Download the mail-in rebate form, and print it out. When you receive your PLAYSTATION 3, fill out the form with your choice of movies--you'll need the UPC code located on the player's package--and send it in to the address indicated on the form by October 31, 2007.

    As a non-Prime member (though I don't see the difference) it was $478. Maybe it was the movies?

    And if you sign up for the Amazon Credit Card you could save another $30 and get it for $448.

      I'd hate for someone to think that, and a year down the line it's pretty much the same deal... they could have just gotten it a year before and have been playing it. I personally love my PS3, and I got it on release, I've never cared that the prices went down a few months after I got it, because in all honesty, I played my PS3 from the day I got it, and I made it worth the extra money

        True, but wouldn't you prefer to have, say, an extra $200 in your pocket, rather than getting your Playstation 3 a few months earlier when not many hit games were out? I would, but probably wouldn't regret it since then you can show it off to all your friends before more people get it.

    Ok, if Sony can do this in every store/site in every country then that would be fantastic, but unfortunately for me it doesn't affect me.

    Blu-ray movies are a lot cheaper than the production cost of the Ps3...You are getting the Movies for free and a $25 discount on a Ps3
