I read the paper daily and this caught by eye. I knew there had to be something in one of the papers about the currently very popular (which, I don't see why; same shit different box).

The metro (metronews.ca) reports that Halo 3 is Microsofts hopes to widen its lead over Sony in the battle for industry dominance. Wait, I thought that belonged to the Nintendo DS and Wii?

"Halo 3 is seen to be the $30 billion US video game industry's equivalent of a new Potter book"

Says the Metro. So, now we're comparing Master Chief to Harry Potter? hmm, interesting comparison. The game does seem to be just as popular here as in the US, however. The Future Shop, located at 1740 Broadway sold approximately 124 copies of the game alone on launch day. Someone in a Master Chief costume was even there to celebrate the launch.

Wow, when I saw "Vancouver" I just had to see what this article was about. I never knew a place so close to me would be in GameGrep. And of course, it's submitted by the cities very own, tekemosis.

Anyways, I have to read Metro and check out the article myself.

I don't really like Harry Potter to be honest. I used to but then I went to to read more adult books
