The Queen... A Wii Addict...

Krunal | January 06, 2008 | Other | Wii
It seems that Her Royal Highness (HRH), The Queen has become addicted to the latest Nintendo Console, namely the Wii. Recently given to her Grandson (Prince William), by his girlfriend. From a palace source, it seems that after seeing William playing the game, she thought it was tremendously fun, and joined in herself.
A Palace source told The People: "When she saw William playing a game after lunch at Sandringham she thought the Nintendo looked tremendous fun and begged to join in.

"She played a simple ten-pin bowling game and by all accounts was a natural.

"It was hilarious. William was in fits of laughter. He was enormously impressed at having such a cool gran.

"And although she is 81 the Queen's hand-eye co-ordination was as good as somebody half her age."

Yeah the Wii gets the most unlikely people to play/ My mom and dad play the Wii. And they do so spontaneously sometimes. Without me knowing.

Well, thats loads of free advertising for Nintendo >_>

Old Fashioned Brit - "Hrmmmph, these 'video games' are foolish wastes of time"
Me - "Are you saying Her Royal Highness wastes her time?"
OFB - "What is this you speak of?"
Me - "The Queen herself plays on the Wii, and has a jolly good time of it in fact"
OFB - *reads the article* "Well, it appears I am in error...perhaps I should take a look at thi 'Wii' thing"

I TOTALLY got to tell my Uncle this

The Queen is HM (Her Majesty), not HRH. HRH is for princes and princesses.
