During GDC 08' IGA Worldwide and id Software (Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein) partner up to bring us QUAKE LIVE. Now, what exactly is Quake Live? Well, it's not a new installment in the Quake series. It's the Quake you know and love, what console? PC? well, yes but you play it in your browser.

IGA is an in-game advertising firm, so, you can most likely expect to see advertisements in Quake Live while you frag it up through your browser. It's to be noted that there is already a browser based version of Quake 3 but it is not endorsed by id Software.
