Half Life 2: Episode Three. The First Concept Art.

Half Life 2: Episode 3 will be the final installment in the episodic expansions of Half Life 2. Although little to no information is known about this title, and it is confirmed to not be attending E3 this year, a piece of concept art has managed to filter through.

( Note that the consoles listed are [XBOX360], [PC] and [PS3], dismissing any former rumours that the title wouldn't be appearing on the Sony Console. )

the first widely available piece of concept art for the final episode of Valve's Half-Life 2 saga has been uncovered via the 2008 IntoThePixel E3 art gallery.

The piece--created by Valve artists Ted Backman, Jeremy Bennett, and Tristan Redford--appears to show Half-Life hero Gordon Freeman within a large Citadel-like environment, a Combine Advisor looming ominously overhead.

IntoThePixel's website labels the art as related to "Half Life EP3," with platforms listed as PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

    Dragoshi's theories for HL2:EP 3 that may not be true,but are very likely

    1.Maybe Dr. Breen survived the accident at the end of Half-Life 2,and he was put into his host body; An Advisor!!!!


    2.Lammar was probably launched into the rocket,maybe the combine shoot it down, and she emerges a semi-gonarch! Of course,she stays loyal to Kliener,and assists him,DOG,and Gordon in fighting the advisors,giving gordon the ability to use headcrabs as weapons.


    3.Gordon meets Chell from PORTAL,and they team up,adding a co-op experience to the game.


    4.Inside the borealis is ANOTHER GLaDOS,and this one is mobile!!!!


    5.G-Man is eviL!!!!

    Yeah, if Dr. Breen survived that would be amusing to say the least.

    Good theories there dragoshi, though some are a little silly, lol.

    The concept art looks good and all I can say, yet again, is that I hope it lives up the my expectations.

    Spoiler about number 2 if you haven't played it

    If you watch during your reuniting with Kliener and when you meet Magnusen*sp* you can watch Lammar climb into the nose cone. Then you hear them talk about an anomaly of about eight lbs.

          No,its like a twist. If you put in the gnome,allegedly Lammar gets out,leaving the 8 pound gnome,but if you do not put in the gnome,Lammar goes up in smoke
