In classic zombie fashion- Left 4 Dead's box art is amazing-typical of any "of the Dead", "... Dead", or Any George A. Romaro film or video game.

This should certainly grab attention. The more people available for co-op, the better!

You know what bothers me ? Even with a boxart as gruesome as this, with a blood splatter and a hand with the thumb ripped off ...

... parents are still going to buy this game for their little kids, and then bitch about how violent it is.

Its very ... green to say the least.

I really like the hand design, but I'm sure they could have done something different/better with the background.

Nice artwork, I was expecting a shot of a bunch of zombies running or something. Though to be clear, these zombies remind me of the remake of Dawn of the Dead rather than any of Romero's zombie films. Running zombies became the new trend ever since 28 Days Later came out.

Certainly looks gruesome and awesome, definatly complimenting the game even though there aren't any zombies on the cover.

The box art looks amazing, not sure how I feel about the green color scheme though.

I find it ironic that it's called Left 4 Dead and there's a right hand on the cover.

Anyone else catch the "4" fingers...

    Left 4 Dead...

Maybe a stretch - maybe not.

All I can say is...I'm sold. Now the question remains: PC or 360?

Looks good. But if it is gonna have blood i think it would need a lil more than that XD

Personally, I think the background shoudl have been black and not green. Black would have gone better with the whole zombie horror feel, and a most of the levels in the game are going to take place in dark places.

The problem with that is that this game isn't as scary as some make it out. It's no RE, SH, or FF, especially with the addition of four-player co-op. <---That will own.

When you and your team mates are walking down a dark alley, a zombie comes out of nowhere from above and using its tongue as a noose and hangs you when your friends sit there helplessly watching.

If that wouldn't scare you shitless when you're playing at 3 in the morning, you have no soul.

Maybe I don't. But come on, from the gameplay trailers and such, this really isn't that that scary. It's more like just shooting zombies together.

You're right in that it won't be SH, RE, or FF. They are genuinely scary. They build atmosphere. It's hard to do that when you have three other people to talk to and help.

However, there will be plenty of scares. They'll be cheap ones, like turning around and seing a zombie when you don't expect it. Things like that will still be freaky.

I am so getting this game. I still have like three packs of Left 4 Dead mints I got from their meeting room at E3. Should've taken more since they would've sent the extras back anyway. Wonder if they'd sell on Ebay... XP

Don't lord your E3 attendee status over me
