In under a months time now The Last Remnant will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, but it seems that Square Enix have brought the game out of hiding a little earlier an expected with this feature in the latest Famitsu.

[The Last Remnant Forum]

Square Enix has released in the Famitsu magazine some very nice screenshots and arts of its upcoming big RPG named The Last Remnant for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Scheduled (on Xbox 360) for November 20 worldwide, the game will be playable in a couple of weeks during Tokyo Game Show 2008.

I still don't know if this is a timed 360 exclusive or not. Every time they're asked about it, it's always 'no comment.'

They only said that for FFXIII, because as we all know, about 80% of all their next-gen games are 360 exclusive.

Hope the time difference between the two versions' releases isn't too wide.

Damn, huge screens. Looks like we've got a dragoon in the mix, sweet.

Looks pretty sweet. I would like a PS3 release date soon.

I expect the hypocritical Square to cancel it though.

And why would they do that?

Because Squenix said multiplatform is best after they've had numerous 360 exclusive games.

Wow, this game is shaping up to look better and better with each new media release. I hope it's on par with, or better than Lost Odyssey. That would be a nice change for Square-Enix, to actually release an enjoyable RPG for once. It's been awhile since we've gotten one.
