Star Ocean 4 Update: 3 discs, 2 new characters and a bunch of screenshots!

Just when the characters of Star Ocean: The Last Hope couldn't get any... uhmm... "weirder", tri-Ace have gone and out done themselves again. Hope you like Cat girls !

On the length side of things, looks like we're in for 3 discs this time too. Lets just hope they don't make the same mistake Mistwalker did.

Infinite Undiscovery and the Last Remnant came out on two discs. When Star Ocean: The Last Hope gets released in North America this March 3 it will be on three discs. Hopefully, Square Enix will pony up for better packaging than the US version of Lost Odyssey which crammed three discs on top of each other.

        How is he a fanboy again? It is possible to want to have this title for PS3, since it's always been with the Playstation brand and its disappointing for the fans of the series to not be able to play it on their system like Fatal Frame did with 4. God you people throw out the term fanboy out out so much for no reason. Can we stop assuming and labeling people please?

          Coming from a Final Fantasy fanboy, you seriously need to *bleep*. Zerpent didn't make a fanboy statement, he just said he would prefer a PS3 version. If he said something that was donwgrading the 360 but glorifying the PS3 to no end, than yeah, fanboy, but he did no such thing, so shut up.

          Agreed. The term fanboy is horribly overused thesedays. I agree in every aspect, Star Ocean 4 should be released on the Playstation 3 as well, considering the first 3 were on Sonys console. I love my Xbox360 the most out of my 3 because, simply put, its gives me the most enjoyment and for me, has the best games. But god forbid people express such opinion on the gamegrep boards. >.>

          Oh really? Just how the hell were we supposed to know you were joking? This is text, we can't tell the intention behind what you wrote as if you were speaking to us. Maybe if you left a smiley or something I could understand, but no, I think I was justified in believing you were being genuine about Zerpent being a fanboy.

          Silver I don't care if it was a joke, the term fanboy has been thrown around far too much this generation(and the constant labeling) where its original meaning is lost. Not mention the fact I'm tired of people using it as a joke. Some people actually take the word as an insult, like myself, and everytime I read it when someone just wants to play it on their system pisses me off to no end. Find a different joke to use, not the term fanboy. Unless the person was genuine acting like a fanboy, which Zerpent wasn't.

          I'm just throwing this out there; Mostly fanboy's accuse others of fanboys unless the other person was genuinely acting like a fanboy.

          I remember someone saying people act like a fanboy on this site and Neo, and most of this generation to piss people off. Sorry, I know i'm not a mod but I really can't tolerate this.

        Look, I'm no fanboi. I just don't want to buy a 360. I'm not going to list my reasons why, since there's really no reason to.

        I have a PS3, thus I want this game for that console. I'd rather not see it on Wii after all.

          Hell, I have a 360 and I would still prefer it to be on the PS3. I just like it better than the 360, and still use it more often than the 360. But the 360 has more than enough games that I want to justify my purchase.

          Well Slumpy(IIRC) did say people love being fanboys to piss people off.

          Also I don't see why Koloth would trash talk a system he prefers to the 360. At least that's what I got from his comment and others he stated.

    Still extremely dissappointed that its not coming out for PS3 but I cant wait to pick this up for 360. It looks awesome and certainly has more appeal than Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant. =D

    I'll still buy it, though. Been wanting a good JRPG for awhile now. Haven't gotten it since I heard the Last Remnant sucked and Infinite Undiscovery was average.

    I want it on the PS3 too. I have the 360, but I have a sneaking suspicion it will be out on the PS3 about a year after the PS3 release, if not sooner (hopefully).

    One disk, and probably extra content to boot XD

    Made the mistake of getting Eternal Sonata on the 360, and didn't get far....Did get a nice Polka faceplate though
