Duke Nukem Forever Artwork Released ... Now Where's The Game?

It's been another long stretch since we've heard anything about Duke Nukem Forever, but today 3D Realms released an artwork featuring some of the beasties Duke will come across in the game.
And yes, these are the in-game graphics. Let's just hope that they won't be outdated graphics by the time the actual game is released!

    There's only two things I want to do in my life: kick ass in Duke Nukem Forever and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum!

    ... well, by the time this game comes out, I should have time to pick up a few thousand more packs I've been all over this game for years and years, posting about it on Neo. Glad it finally feels like it can be released within the next couple years.

    Yea then you find out its the biggest let down in history. Its like yahtzee said "if it doesnt cure one type of cancer, me, and every other reviewer is going to cut its balls off"

    Can't wait to see if this game happens. It's been a long time coming, and I think the series deserves a chance to shine on next gen consoles.

    The game MIGHT be available for the Playstation 4. Probably the Playstation 5 though.

    Call me optimistic, but I'm starting to think this game is really gonna come out soon. I mean, we did get actual (new) gameplay footage earlier this year. And with all the promoting they've been doing lately, they just might be close to finished.

    Still, I give its release to no later than 2010.

    I must say very good work on that screen i mean thats Unreal Engine 2 right there, it is heavily modified sure but this game looks very good and very polished on a very old engine.

    And they said Killzone 2 is the best graphically-stunning game. This shames Killzone 2 completely.

      Red it hardly shames Killzone 2, i mean this is one scene of the characters taken out of the game and presented. I mean Killzone 2 has never said it looks the best in texture detail or anything like that, but it has the full package graphics, sound, atmosphere and AI. it does it all perfectly which gives the overall feel of the best looking game made for some years.

    You know what would be really funny, is if they finally release this thing and it takes only about 3 hours to finish. That would be a let down. I am just looking forward to the smart ass remarks by Duke, i miss that.

      Chances are that will be the unfortunate case, these days unless they make it old school like DooM 3 was in a sense for shooters this game will be 7 hours long max. I bring in DooM 3 cause that game about about 21 hours taking it slowly, though that is not the norm anymore sadly.
