The Worst Console Comparison. EVER.

We have seen some console comparisons that try to bring straight facts and nothing more, others that are completely biased and are easy to tell, but this one just takes the cake. Taken from a newspaper to help people decide what console to get this christmas is the worst comparison ever. Such pro's for 360 is it has "gutter hero" but some cons for the PS3 are "you have to plug it into the tv" and for PC cons "you have to pay for internet" and plenty more.

    I wouldn't be taking it that seriously. It looks like it was written by some young kid, especially since above it looks like some Christmas show by the kids.

        But are the DS, PSP, and Game Boys really considered consoles? I always thought people differentiated consoles from handhelds or something.

          I seriously don't want to philosophically argue about "epic fails", let alone someone I shouldn't be arguing with in the first place, but the way he said it confused me too. It's as if he was saying both words in separate ideas.

          Newspapers editors are usually pretty smart people.

          But since there's no name indicating who wrote the graph, we don't know who wrote it and whether it was a kid or not. I just sure as hell hope it's wasn't the editor.

    They gave the computer the highest rating but at the bottom it says "If it were up to me I would choose the Wii gaming console". What a *bleep*.

    Another interesting con is: "You have to buy the game to play guitar hero."

    You have to buy stuff to use it? Wow, what a horrible concept for a console to have.

      Actually I think it said you have to buy the "guitar" to play the game. That . . . actually when I first heard of Guitar Hero and everything, I was let down a bit by the thought of having to buy expensive peripherals to play the game. But . . . to play via a regular controller would be boring.

      ah probably those things going around saying the PS3 has no games that support 4 player multiplayer, compared to other consoles. Which . . . I kinda agree. Not many PS3 games allow 4 players to go online on the same PS3. I love the ones that do, but there seriously needs to be more (along with the feature of allowing multiple PSN accounts to log in simultaneously).

    Hm . . . Very odd. Aphex had it right though. There's no way this was written by an adult, even if they were completely against or ignorant of gaming.

    So why are people finding this serious and everything? Then again, I really didn't find it that funny either, so why are people finding it funny? (I guess I can't talk much because though I'm always happy and smiling, I laugh very seldom due to an actual funny thing That makes me so sad )

    The kid seems to like portable systems. Also, think of this from a kid's perspective. The kid may honestly think the points are valid. I mean, who WOULDN'T want to have a system that you didn't have to plug into a TV (came with it's own decently sized screen) with fewer plugs and things to connect, that had a battery that didn't need to be recharged, that could play multiple people on the same system or through free online play, and you could play Guitar Hero without having to buy the Guitar (which brings the cost down decently)?

    Shoo, I would . . . well, depending on how big that screen was and what games the system had!

    Wow. I think the worst console ever i've ever seen, is a rip off of a PSP it looked exactly the same, but was spelt PlayStatonPortable. With no I in Station. Also, you can't buy PSP discs for it. It had some rip off mario game on it. That's gotta be the worst console EVAR!
