Last month, we had brought you 11 small screen shots from Need For Speed: Shift, but had to remove them due to embargo restrictions. Well we finally got to post 8 of them, and here they are once again in high-res format.

The series has died and to be honest I don't think they can recover at all.

Thats probably why they aren't bothering, this game is a racing simulator like Gran Turismo and is not like their arcade roots.

They are making Nitro to fulfill the arcade aspect of the game

Canel the series, and work on a racing simulator under a new name. Because the Need for Speed name has been anally taken and ravashed, and many will probably be turned off by another NFS title.

I haven't played a NFS game since NFS: Most Wanted. I was actually thinking about picking up one of the newer ones but I didn't realize everyone thought so badly of them lol. I don't think I want to now.

If you are gonna pick up a new NFS wait for Shift as it's a re-invention of the brand. The last few games have been terrible Undercover got like 4.2/10 from IGN it was that bad, hopefully this new one will change that with official licenced tracks and real driving physics.
