The sprites looks good too.
YAY!!!!! Pokemon follow forever, possible camera support(for us DSi users, hehe), a skateboard(A FREAKIN' SKATEBOARD! no more bike! YES!!!!), and new stock art for lugia!
Best. News. EVER.
The new girl looks neat (great manga potential if they do a HG/SS series) but I realld wanted Crystal. D:
It would be even cooler if they added Hoenn along with kanto
...Is anyone else pissed about the new girl design?
At least her hair is kinda similar.
Meh. It's not like I'm going to be playing as the female character anyway. I'll try and not cover myself with info on these game so everything can be a nice surprise when I play the game next year.
And we're going back to Kanto...wonder will there be a complete makeover instead of just those two places...
Looks to me like you access everything via the touch screen rather than it popping up on the top screen.
I can't wait for it now.
If it wasnt for the DSI, I would have though they'd do multiple-regions via the GBA slot and firered/leafgreen ruby/sapphire, plugging em in allowing you to travel to the regions, instead of a pal park. Make use of some compatibility; that's the whole point of the remake - compatibility with the new generation. Otherwise you might as well get the old gameboy out and play the original. But like I said man, the Dsi makes that idea redundant.
But like you said, the DSi makes that unlikely anyway, so it's no big deal.
They could make the games available for download on DSI, and do it like that, but again, not likely.
But if by "the new generations" you mean the older GBA games, then I doubt they'll be much compatability with them.
I will admit though I would rather have a brand new generation, but its still a Pokemon game so I'll still like it.
