The boxarts for Nintendo and The Pokémon Company's upcoming DS remakes, Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver, were revealed in the most recent issue of CoroCoro Magazine. The simple, yet elegant packages show off the game's signature legendary along with faint hints of each of their respective locations. The box is larger due to the announced PokéWalker accessory.

Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are to release this September in Japan.

They're relatively plain but nice. I know it can't be helped but the thickness of the box is horrific, they look like cardboard too which is a shame. :\

What usually happens with those pack-ins is that while the outside box is cardboard, the game inside will still be in a standard DS game case.

I mean, God, even I'm gonna struggle to get my puny Pokemon playing hands around that monstrosity!

You people fail for criticizing the BOX.

    *bows before the BOX*

Inside will be that walker thing app, and the REAL game box with your precious game inside.

    Lugia, you are MINE!!!

I thought those games were a great idea, and I'm always against whoring. Red and Green were amazing games but desperately needed an overhaul.

The reason for this happening is enhancing the old games with new features such as wi-fi.

It seems that the box was made to reminisce of the old ways of packaging.

Ahh it'll feel like playing the original Silver all over again.

The actual box art is pretty simple. I like the way they've positioned lugia and ho-oh on the cover. Looks nice.
