The latest scans for Nintendo and The Pokémon Company's upcoming DS remakes, Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver, have been found by Pokébeach.com. These scans showcase some of the various updated looks and features for the upcoming title, in particular showing a much better looking menu interface and Pokédex, both of which even more touch enabled.

Also, any of the Pokémon you have in your possession will be able to follow you, not just your starting Pokémon.

Clearer CoroCoro scans have surfaced on Japanese image board 2ch, revealing some new HeartGold and SoulSilver information while clarifying some rumors and previously known facts.

    I think I speak for all Pokemon fans when I say;

I WANNA SEE WAILORD FOLLOWING GOLD!

A PC revamp was really needed too.

it'll probably flop around like a turd and run out of hp on the land, maybe water types can only follow you when you're in the water

In the stadium and Colosseum games the pokemon float or bounce if they are water types.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS! My Rayquaza and charizard can follow me at last!
Even more good news! SILVER OWNERS GET GROUDON!!! And reserving the games get you a cool statue thing! I want lugia and arceus

I wonder if, now that every Pokemon has a 'follow' sprite whether they'll have changed surfing so that we see an actual Pokemon now...

    ...Rather than a black/blue blob.

Hahaha, I remember that. Every best on two legs resembled a Rhydon.

That would be an interesting sight, but I'd prefer to see an arceus following him around.

Well that would have required a bit of effort. Would have to be over 250 sprites right?

There are 493 different Pokémon, so there's 493 different sprites that have to be done.

they have to be in the programming man, even if they're not in-game, you'll probably be able to trade em over

The nostalgia this is causing may just force me to buy a Nintendo DS. Looks awesome. Although I haven't played since Crystal so all the crazy new features are probably going to confuse the crap out of me.

Is it just me or are there too many pokemon games as there is? I mean seriously. Whenever I see the new list of Pokemon games I go... When they release one they release one exactly the same except for one legendary.... That's what trading is for. I mean seriously people.

Nintendo will stop making Pokemon when Pokemon stops crapping money at them. =P

Besides, if you look past all the spin-offs, the RPG series is brilliant and there are only 4 generations (6 if you include the 2 remakes) which isn't all that many.

No. I believe once they run out of minerals to name them. They might use elements, food, or even pokemon.

      pokémon shine
      pokémon blastoise
      pokémon bacon

      . See it all works.

At least more than just "cute" Pokemon can follow you, I'm beginning to like the idea now.

Actually, they would have to have like 5 sprites PER POKEMON,that's 2465 overworld pokemon sprites right there!

Somehow I think that isn't a big deal to a company the size of Nintendo.

Well they've already made overworld sprites. look at the mystery dungeon series.
